Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC-Na)

Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium (CMC-Na) is a carboxymethylated derivative of cellulose, an ionic cellulose gum, and a sodium salt.
They are white or light yellow powder, granular or fibrous substances.
They are odorless, tasteless, and readily disperse in water to form clear colloidal solutions.
Their degree of substitution is generally 0.7-1.2, and they are highly hygroscopic and easily soluble in water. The aqueous solution has the highest viscosity in the range of pH=6~9.
